Identicam Systems Ltd. in conjunction with the United Nations has installed an integrated photo identification security system at Entebbe Airport in Uganda. Identicam’s integration team went on site to Kampala for one week to install and train local Airport Security Officials in the implementation, design and use of the system, and production of security identification badges.
Identicam president Jeff Sharpe says, “By providing airport employees and authorized personnel with security identification badges, we have created a more secure and safe environment for their employees, and for passengers traveling to and from Uganda”.
Identicam is Canada’s Largest Systems Integrator in the identification and Smart Card field. Their integrated photo identification security system includes security features such as biometrics, signature capture, magnetic stripe encoding and smart chip layout support for e-cash capabilities. |
